About Us

Uncommon Motor Cars specializes in the importation and rejuvenation of rare and interesting Toyota Land Cruisers.

Our Process

We are very selective about our trucks and spend countless hours researching, assessing and inspecting each truck before acquisition. We have extremely high quality standards when it comes to purchasing our vehicles and the standards only increase once the trucks arrive stateside. All of our trucks are ready for the road, the trail, camping or overlanding and anything else you can throw at them.

Once a car is brought into our inventory, it is thoroughly inspected by our experts and all necessary maintenance items are addressed. Our team has many years of Toyota Land Cruiser experience and we are familiar with all of the common issues. We practice preventative maintenance on our inventory to ensure our customers have an enjoyable ownership experience and deliver them rigs that are properly sorted, reliable and turn-key.

Integrity, honesty and full disclosure are the pillars of our business. Building relationships and conducting ethical business is what our company is built upon. See what our customers have to say about us by visiting our Testimonials Page. We look forward to working with you and sharing the car enthusiasm and passion.

The Team

Adam Bellin

Adam remembers the exact moment it happened. He was 6 years old and his Uncle downshifted his Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo and power slid out into traffic, a grin on his face, a sly remark of “don’t tell your mother” escaping his lips. That was all it took, Adam was hooked on all things internal combustion from that day

Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Adam is an avid automobile collector and entrepreneur with experience in technology, international real estate, and all things fast and loud. He is an expert in the art of deal sourcing and possesses a unique ability to connect people with their ultimate solutions be it automotive or otherwise.

At Uncommon Motor Cars, Adam’s passion for exotic and vintage automobiles lives strong. Once you've seen what Uncommon Motorcars has to offer, you'll share Adam's philosophy that “life is too short to drive boring cars”.

Katrina Burnett on a Toyota

Katrina Burnett

Katrina’s family business is a junkyard. Growing up in an ever expanding universe of metal sparked her lifelong fascination with all things automotive. Having a passion for trouble and an inclination for speed certainly helped.

The sounds, the smells and the tactile feeling of being part of the machine were intoxicating. Learning to drive when she was only 10 years old, Katrina soon found herself in a Jeep Wrangler (we don’t hold this against her). The hard top jeep had roll bars and her favorite activity was taking the junkyard’s downhill S turn at speed and purposefully rolling the truck with the goal of landing it right side up. Thankfully for our inventory, she’s outgrown this hobby. When she was old enough to drive on the road legally, she realized the error of her Jeep ways and bought a Toyota 4Runner. From there, her love for Toyota began.
